Booking terms
Placeholder page
Everything below is a structural placeholder written for the prototype. It is not legal advice, it has not been reviewed, and it must be replaced with a properly drafted document before this site goes anywhere near the public.
These are the terms on which Trouvaille Holidays arranges travel. They exist so that both of us know what happens when things go well, and more importantly when they do not.
Quotes and holds
A quote is valid for the period stated on it. Prices are driven by airline fares, exchange rates and supplier availability, none of which Trouvaille Holidays controls, and none of which are held until a deposit is received and the booking is confirmed by the supplier.
Deposits and balances
To be completed. The deposit percentage, the balance due date, and the accepted payment methods go here, along with the exact account the money goes into and what protects it while it is there.
Changes and cancellations
To be completed. Supplier cancellation terms differ by product and are usually stricter than anything set here. The cancellation schedule and any Trouvaille Holidays administration fee go here.
Passports, visas and health
Travellers are responsible for holding a valid passport with sufficient validity and blank pages for their itinerary, for any visas required, and for meeting the health requirements of every country on the route. Trouvaille Holidays advises on these and confirms them where possible, but cannot be responsible for a traveller being refused boarding or entry on documentation grounds.
Travel insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended on every booking and is a condition of some products. Trouvaille Holidays can arrange cover but is not the insurer, and any claim is between the traveller and the underwriter.
Our role
Trouvaille Holidays acts as an agent for the airlines, hotels, cruise lines, transfer operators and tour suppliers whose services it arranges. Each of those suppliers has its own terms, which apply to your booking alongside these ones.
If something goes wrong
Contact Ruaan directly and as early as possible. Most travel problems are far cheaper and easier to fix while you are still on the trip than afterwards.
